Northwest Professional Services provides residential and commercial Certifying and Consulting services for all classes of buildings under the Building Code of Australia, in a range of areas including BCA compliance, Access and Fire safety.
Our staff are registered building surveyors, access consultants and fire engineers which separates us from our competitors as this provides us with a robust understanding of the role a building professional plays in the construction industry.

BCA Report
A BCA Report assesses a building’s design against the National Construction Code (NCC) to advise if compliance with key requirements such as fire safety, access, egress, and energy efficiency. It is often required at the DA or CC stage to support approval.
We’ve prepared over 600 BCA reports across NSW, delivering detailed, clearly marked reports tailored to buildings of all sizes and classes, with practical and reliable compliance solutions.

Access report
An Access Report helps to achieve building compliance with disability access requirements under the Disability (Access to Premise - Buildings) Standards 2010, NCC, and AS 1428.1-2021, covering key building elements to support safe, equitable access.We are qualified and registered with the Access Consultants Association and NDIS, with over 500 buildings assessed across NSW—including SDA (NDIS) housing, group homes, apartments, and secondary dwellings. We are also qualified Adaptable Housing (AS4299) and Livable Housing Design assessors. Our detailed reports will help you to achieve compliance at the DA, CC, and OC stages.
We can also provide assessment and consistancy statement at completion to assist with final certification and occupation.

Section J Report
- A Section J Report assesses a building’s compliance with the energy efficiency provisions of Section J in the National Construction Code (NCC). The report evaluates elements such as building fabric, glazing, insulation, lighting, air conditioning, and energy usage to ensure the design meets minimum performance standards. It is typically required at the Construction Certificate (CC) stage. Acoustic Report
An Acoustic Report evaluates noise impact and sound insulation to ensure compliance with environmental and building regulations. It addresses external noise sources like traffic and industrial noise, as well as internal soundproofing between rooms. Essential for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, the report helps control noise, enhance occupant comfort, and satisfy council and statutory requirements.
We are qualified and registered with the NSW Building Commission, having assessed over 100 buildings across NSW, with special expertise in childcare centres and Class 2 buildings.
